The wheel really works fine (even the button in the back, using others’ advice to tilt the remote).
CONS:, the controls are VERY different than Pro Controller and the main GamePad. So, its awkward to switch to this unless you want to commit to it. PROS: non-gamers find this much more intuitive than standard controls.. Since Mario Kart 8 is the perfect party game: That’s a real plus when playing with guests.

The quality is great! I bought 2 earlier and now ordered another additional just because using the WII Remote Plus and this wheel is greater maneuvering power with less stress to your hands. Especially cool for racing games than playing with game-pad. It protects the remotes and makes them more prominent on the coffee table or my TV deck than having the remote plus alone, as my son usually slips the TV remote, mobile, etc in the creases of my Sofa! Well kids generally like having it with the wheels than holding the WII Remote Plus alone. So even though its only a luxury item its a nice product to get the feel of the game. Note anyone buying just one of the wheel and wishing to play with the gamepad, I find it too hard to beat my son in the games when even tilting the pad 180 degrees is just too less when you hit on the fence by the road!
