Really nice stand for the price,
Build quality is good – very little bowing with the monitor on top (the photo I uploaded makes it look like it has more bend that it does). The 2nd shelf goes on with screws and four aluminum brackets. The laminate has pilot holes in it for alignment of the screws so that part is easy – you just need to be careful not to overtighten the screws (like I did on one of them) because it’s easy to strip out the holes. I’d recommend using a manual screwdriver vs. power to avoid this issue. The rest of the assembly is a typical Ikea-style toggle-bolt affair – two dowels and one screw per side. With everything tightened up it feels more secure than I was expecting. Really good quality for a $25 stand.
