One of the few cards available today that is both modern and works in a PCIE 1x slot.

Despite having no fan, the card never came close to overheating while I tried some light gaming on it.

The memory interface is obviously limiting the performance of this card, but it breathed a bit of life into an old HP Slimline that was laying around.

This review is from: ZOTAC GeForce GT 730 Zone Edition 2GB DDR3 PCI Express HDMI DVI Graphics Card (ZT-71113-20L) (Personal Computers)
Purchased the Zotac Geforce GT 730 Zone Edition with 2gigs of DDR3 Ram to upgrade an older PC. Acer Aspire M3910 that had on board graphics. I’m running a core i3 550 first generation CPU and purchased the upgrade CPU core i7 870 first Generation LGA1156 Socket. I haven’t installed the new CPU yet because it doesn’t have graphics capabilities like the i3 550 does. So I purchased the Zotac GT 730 to give me graphics before installing the i7 CPU. My process for installing the GT 730 was very simple. I opened my case installed the GT 730 and rebooted my system. My system booted into windows 10 and everything looked larger than usual. Windows 10 made it’s own adjustments little by little. I didn’t use the install DVD that came with the card. I did go to Nvidia.com and downloaded the most up to date drivers for windows 10 and the GT 730 card. Everything works great! I tell you all this because a few people have problems installing these cards. I know all systems are not the same but take the simplest path first before you update your bios or uninstall/install drivers. Most systems will recognize new hardware on their own. Do update to the latest drivers for your system tho.

Put this in my HP Elite 8200 small form factor pc running Windows 10 which came with HP on-board graphics. The Zotac works great. Installed easily, plug and play. The included softwear adds no value, but does not seem necessary. Graphics on Starcraft II and Diablo III are excellent now, way better than before this upgrade. For only $69.99 this was a bargain in my view. You can’t buy a 4GB stick of DDR5 memory for this price.
