Freesync trouble,
This review is from: AOC G2260VWQ6 Gaming 21.5” LCD Monitor, Black (Personal Computers)
Pros: Cheap, crisp, beautiful 1080p picture.
Cons: – Getting freesync to work right is a little technical. Other Thoughts: Lock games at 59fps to use Freesync. Set AMD Frame Limiter to 59 as well. 60 causes tearing Awesome screen for 0, just install the drivers on the disc or download them at the website. Some instructions say to install them manual through the monitors properties in windows. Go to the device manager, find "Generic PnP Monitor", install the driver manually. You will have to disable driver signing in windows, do that in "troubleshooting" settings in the Windows restore menu’s… It’s a little technical but extremely easy to do. You will have to limit your framerates in games to 59 in AMD Radeons settings and may have to use external software like MSI Afterburner and Riva Tuner to lock the fps at 59fps as well, if you can’t in game. IT IS AMAZING FOR GAMING,
