Received this today with prime shipping. came packaged well considering after market status and price. This charger works for the original Nintendo DS. I was skeptical by other reviews, but if you have the original DS, gray clamshell style, this does work well. I have only used it once today, so I cannot speak to the lasting quality, but it dies work, and it isn’t tight or loose, it just works. Can’t beat it for the price.

Received it on the day I was told, it does fit my DS (Original not Lite) however it does not charge my DS. I have checked to make sure the charging port on my DS was clean and good shape and switched outlets to no avail. Beware of receiving faulty chargers and going through the 3 day return to get your money back.
