This basically the exact same game as the 09 version except for the upgraded rosters. The biggest thing I was looking forward to was the catcher mode. Unfortunately, I didn’t do my research and that mode is not available on the PSP. The fact still remains that this is a very fun game, but for the most part it is a recycled version of 09; even the announcer quotes are the exact same! I am looking forward to picking up the PS3 version and getting into the catcher mode. I’ve never gotten into the actual road to the show feature on this game and was dying to do it this year based off of that catcher mode, but oh well. I’m sure I will enjoy the hell out of the pS3 version. So, if you don’t have the 09 version then you should definitely pick this up. However, if you have last year’s model, don’t waste it on this when you could be putting that money towards the PS3 version! I would assume not because 2k10 for PSP is the biggest piece of trash to enter the baseball gaming market. The Show is just a really fun game to play with really great controls and movements. I enjoy it, I really do not care too much about the roster updates because I understand the business aspect of it. If they gave you a new roster every year would anyone buy new games, I think not. It is a little pricey and that’s why it did not get the 5 stars but the game is really solid and I really enjoy playing it. I had MLB 2K10 first and I almost threw it out the window it annoyed me so much. Its worth a purchase if you enjoy a nice season of baseball on the plane or on the go. If you want to play online and do all these things then you should probably invest into a PC/PS3. PSP is called portable for a reason so you have something to do on the go.
