I typically buy games for the multiplayer, and I have enjoyed past games. This game is terrible, it’s the first time I have had to force myself to play it, just to see if it got better, which it didn’t. The maps are small and chaotic – this would be ok but it’s not executed properly. It’s just rehashed items from before, but with all the fun taken out.

This game is absolutely awful. I’ve been a huge fan of COD since COD 4, and this is the last one I will buy. It’s not a matter of skill anymore, it’s a matter of how fast you can jump over buildings and run along walls. Doesn’t feel like Call Of Duty anymore. The game is completely out of control and the maps are not good for the game play style.

Multiplayer wise, this game puts the Terror in Terrible -____- half of the maps are super small and look like the same abandoned space station but with different color themes, its as bad as it gets guys, the worst maps in Franchise HISTORY. i literally didnt like Any of them enough to dedicate to. None. Advanced Warfare had 10x better maps. and if your not playing Search & Destroy, the gameplay is a MESS, just guys jumping all over the place and shooting you in the back, not fun at all. if youre thinking about buying this game for the multiplayer, Stop…..DONT…..and buy Advanced Warfare.
CAMPAIGN mode however is pretty Decent if you like linear war/space games. there are no actual Choices to where you can shape the storyline and thats Disappointing….just straight up combing through baddies who want you dead. you gear up, you float into space, you take out some generic enemies and you head back home. thats it, thats all, thats every mission. its very well Produced and everything looks good….but thats all. if your good, you can clear it in about 5 to 6 hours on Regular difficulty. i particularly enjoyed how the fighter ship handles when youre in space combat and i WISH there was more of this in the Campaign, maybe even constant space battles once youv beat the game so the mode would have some sort of replay value…..but you can replay missions SO IF YOURE INTO REPLAYING THE SAME MISSIONS OVER AND OVER, YOU MIGHT LIKE THIS. if not, this isnt worth more than 40 bucks AT MOST. i would personally have LOVED for the multiplayer to be Within the Campaign mode so you could activate it from the ship and be sent to different multiplayer maps/locations for Defense or S&D matches, which could be co-op or vs other players…..and everything you gain from the mp can be used in the Campaign mode. even the COD4 and Zombie multiplayer modes couldve been console games you could play IN your quarters on the ship. this wouldve given Campaign mode INFINITE replay value as it would be the only mode you need to access Everything…..and then there would be no need to charge 20$ extra for COD4 AND its single player (which no one really wanted or asked for -____-). so yeah, dont buy this game until its under 40 bucks and ONLY for the Campaign mode, youv been warned enough. stick with Advanced Warfare if you want solid multiplayer. |
