This is weird. In theory the product is great. But when I use it the monitor I am connecting it to has a blocked blurry pointer instead of an arrow. Now I am not sure if its a problem with the SEE2 Xreme itelf, a driver, or the OS. What I do know however is I have the predecessor to this device called the UV150 and that doesn’t have the same problem although it is vastly slower. I will update when I know more. Would be interested to hear if other folk are having the same problem….

I also own this earlier device that doesn’t suffer the same problem but is almost unusable slower:

Triton UV150 USB External VGA Video Card

So the jury is still out. I have just taken purchase of Windows 10 Professional and I will try the Tritton SEE2 Xtreme with that and see if I get the same weird blockly cursor. Watch this space.

I am an IT guy, I deal with lot’s of hardware and other PC components everyday, install, repair and remove.

This product clearly says that it works for MAC and anything newer than version 10.6.

I’ve installed it’s software on a 10.9.3 Maverick, first I’ve tried the driver for Snow Leopard and Tiger, then I’ve tried the one for Snow Leopard only. (THERE ARE 2 DRIVERS COMING and they do not tell you which one to use)

Even though I did remove the 1st driver via driver uninstall script, second driver did not work neither.

It asks for a restart after every operation (ON A MAC this is not common, on Windows you’d understand that.)

I recommend no one to buy this product that you need to troubleshoot and then send back. I simply hate people that writes that works when it does not.

If an IT guy having hard time to get it to work, how will normal users work this?

Either update and write it does not work with Maverick or documents the steps. Now I have to return this…
