As a professional Computer builder, I am very impressed with this card. I have compared this card to the XFX R7 260X 1GB that had an over clock of 1175MHz on the GPU and 1600MHz on the Memory, and this Gigabyte card at stock clock speed destroys the R7 on performance. It sips power and gives little heat under full load. I have heard all of the negative reviews on the 4GB version, but the 2GB version has none of such issues. It overclocks really well, as I safely reached a 1280MHz GPU clock and a 2000MHz Memory clock with ZERO power increase. I Managed 1300MHz with only a 5% power increase and I run a slightly more aggressive fan curve.
For the budget gamer, this card can handle its own, and it is light years ahead of the last generation R7 260X, which was the exact same price at time of purchase, both from Amazon.
I highly recommend this card for the light to moderate gamer and yes, it runs Second Life at Ultra settings like a champ achieving 45FPS in most regions that are in good health.
