1070 GAMING X Review, June 27, 2016
I didn’t get this card from Amazon but from another site but I normally buy from Amazon. I figured I should drop a review here too.

First off, this card is fantastic but only at the price of 450 dollars or less. I do not have VR yet and this review will only be from a standard 1080p monitor standpoint. At 1080p maximum settings (AA and everything) I did a average FPS test of a few games to get an idea of how this card runs. Below are a few examples:

Witcher 3 (Ultra w/ hair works)- 84 FPS
Fallout 4 (maximum settings + 42 mods) – 62 FPS
Battlefield 4 (Ultra preset) – 128 FPS
Overwatch (Epic preset). – 111 FPS
DOOM (Ultra and Nightmare settings) – 139 FPS

I was impressed by the results. I have so many graphics mods on Fallout 4 that this is the reason for the low FPS. Without mods it was probably around 130 FPS range. Remember, this is all on 1080p Full HD.

Overclocking this card was great. You should be able to easily get atleast 2075mhz stable on fan air only. My temps have not made it above 67C and that’s at a max fan speed of 41%. My graphics card scored 20,011 in 3Dmark Firestrike (full HD). So with my overclock I was only about 1000 points in Firestrike behind the GTX 1080 Founders Edition. Pretty impressive. Here is my pros and cons list of this card:

PROS:
– Stays VERY cool at 67C max with OC
– Overclocks to nearly 2.0Ghz using factory OC mode and nearly 2.1Ghz doing your own overclocking
– excellent bang for buck
– great performance
-LED Lights

CONS:
– LED lights. They are cool looking but the problem is the lights around the fans are RED LED only. The only customizable one is the MSI side logo which has RGB color changing. In addition, changing the MSI logo to another color will never give you the right color. Red is more of a pink. Blue is more sky blue. Etc.
– heavy and may present GPU sag at some point. I ended up buying the MSI GPU bolster that they sell.

9.5/10. Do not get this card if you plan on matching it to your case color scheme because it just won’t ever match.

Better than a Titan X for sure!, July 3, 2016
Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
This card is freaking great!! I can run GTA 5 at ultra high settings with 60 percent more memory space, and at least 60 fps. THAT"S PRETTY GOOD FOR THIS CARD. And the price was just right for a developer card. Just 0.00. I am gonna do some serious benches, so if this card doesn’t reach my expectations I still have the option to return it!!
