Nice product. No lag, great screen great size and great sound, easy to transit the back stand can be turned up to carrying and the grip is too comfortable to hold and carry. The only problem is the wight ( heavier than ps4 about 1 kg ) and the power supply better if it can be work in usb like m155. I wish it cames with backpack to be easier to transit. Thinks for this product its really nice to have it.

I have been using GAEMS products since the launch of the G155. The G155 was an awesome beginning product that resonated well with people such as myself who were looking for an all in one solution to portable gaming. It was great being able to transport my Xbox 360 to the barracks and GAEM with my brothers. Soon after GAEMS launched the Vanguard and I was there to pick it up. I bought the UNSC limited edition Vanguard and it showed the improvements from the G155 and how GAEMS listened to gaemers in regards to what they wanted in the product.
Now fast forward to 2015 and GAEMS continues to push the mold and is entering the monitor business. Interesting side note that GAEMS shared in a tweet is that most purchasers actually keep their GAEMS G155, Sentry or Vanguard set up on a desk and does not fully use the portability it offers. The M240 is a 24 inch monitor with Dynamic Sound stage technology. But I am not going to get into the technical side. I want to focus in on the quality of the video, audio, usability and coolness. I have played several games and my favorite movie Batman Dark Knight Rises to test the video and audio. I’ve played Batman Arkham Knight, Need for Speed Rivals, Destiny, Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, AC Black Flag, and Payday 2. The monitor is fast and responsive. There is virtually no input lag. When I aimed down sights and pulled the trigger, I felt that there was no time between my action and what was happening in game. Need for speed gave me the best test of the monitors video and audio as the game is fast paced and scenes fly by as you are driving down the highway. The audio stage for Need for speed has a lot going on and the Dynamic Sound Stage did an awesome job keeping up to task with the sound of the engine, the music playing in the background and the dispatcher providing dialogue. Batman looked amazing on the M240. This screen really brings out the details in the movie. It handled the dark scenes very well. I had to adjust the audio settings to find the sweet spot. I believe I have the best settings overall for gaming and watching movies on the M240. The bass roars low and treble soars high. There is a lot of ways you can tweak the video and sound. Video wise I had to make very small adjustments and the audio took a little time to play with to hit that sweet overall sound. Since everyone’s eyes and ears see and hear things differently experience may vary. The M240 has replaced the BenQ monitor I had originally on my desk and it will be my main battle station monitor for my Xbox One and PS4. I spend a lot of time gaming and utilizing all the monitors on my desk during streams and I need a product that can handle the workload and look great doing so. GAEMS has built that solution for me. If I want to game without a headset, this is not a problem and I know that I will have an enjoyable experience. It is extremely easy to get setup and going. I had mine up and running in less than two minutes which is the about the same amount of time it takes the setup a Vanguard or G155. I streamed from the hdmi out and had not issues what so ever. In closing, I am extremely happy with my purchase. GAEMS products are well built and as you can see by the G155, it still works great to this day. . GAEMS has excellent customer support and you can feel good about purchasing their gear. I did have thoughts about the price and comparison to other monitors on the market. However once I got it set up and used it exclusively for the last week, I can say it is an awesome product that anybody who games, watches movies, TV or listens to music will be satisfied with the GAEMS M240.

I picked up the M240 to help keep my console gaming going while doing some renovations on my gaming room at home. A couple months later and I’m almost reluctant to go back to my 55" LED TVs.
The display quality is great. Colors are good, resolution is sharp, and there are no motion artifacts as should be expected from a monitor sold as "virtually lag free." I cannot find any hard numbers on the display lag, but anecdotally my MP performance has improved significantly from my Samsung TVs, which apparently run an unimpressive ~55ms lag. I’m less impressed with the sound quality, and yet for a self-contained portable monitor I can’t really complain. Audio resolution is unsurprisingly much better from my Turtle Beach Elite 800s, and I’ve needed to keep the volume cranked around 80 to hear quiet scenes while watching Netflix through my XBox One, but the M240 gets the job done. The M240 is not as compact or self-contained as the Vanguard, making it less convenient overall for travel. However, the full 1080 resolution, better speakers and extra screen real estate make for a much more pleasant gaming experience. I would settle for my Vanguard in carry-on luggage when flying, but for road trips, local gaming parties and situations like my home renovation purgatory the M240 is the clear choice. I have no regrets about this purchase and would highly recommend to anyone else who is serious about console gaming and looking for a (semi-)portable monitor. |
