My daughter is 7 years old and enjoys the LEGO blocks etc … so I taught the GAME would be great addition ..
she loved it .. she tends to move around a lot, meaning from handheld games to painting etc – so it is not that the game was boring or anything – she loved it. Have not played the game myself to write the actual GAME review – sorry but worth it. If your little one loves the Lego Friends – she would like the game.

She enjoys it. Wouldn’t suggest it for age groups beyond about 7-8 years though. A little to simple for them.

Lego Could Have Done Better, By
This review is from: LEGO Friends – Nintendo DS (Video Game)
I have been playing this game with my daughter, and I’m disappointed in a few ways. The graphics are really sloppy, and the glitches are numerous.
The text message system in the game is whacky, and seems to just be there to give kiddos something to tap on. Same with the scrapbook. They could have certainly come up with a better idea there. You never really get a sense of accomplishment while going through the levels, it just goes on and on… same tasks, different setting. Older children would be bored quickly. It may not be something a young child would notice, but I have had a few occasions where you are interacting with one character, say Olivia- but for brief moments the character image is not Olivia, but Mia. These mistakes have happened a few times. I have noticed a few misplaced characters. The game will tell you Stephaine is waiting for you at the cafe- but then there she is just sitting at the ranch in the background. They didn’t care at all about continuity when making this game. If you want to give little lego lovers a small thrill, my advice is go ahead and try the game for yourselves. However, I’d rather save the money for a trip to Legoland! 🙂 |
