I needed an upgrade to my graphics card, just so I could play half the Steam games I own. I was getting sick of the lag and crashing.
This particular model was recommended to me by a gaming friend, and he didn’t steer me wrong! This comes with all sorts of connectors so you can use the ones you need for your particular computer and allow the others to just sit curled up and out of the way while installing. I can now play every game I own at the highest graphics settings with no hiccups or lag. SO thrilled…

Bought this card after one of the ports on my GTX 550Ti went dead (computer could not boot or even POST with a monitor connected to the bad port). This card has been a massive improvement. Each game I go back to play, I increase the graphics settings to max and it performs better than the old card did on greatly reduced settings. Every computer upgrade I’ve done has followed the pattern of, "this will do what I need for X dollars, but this other one is better for only more" until I’m looking at a part that costs 3 times what I originally looked at. Inevitably I go back and find the best performance / price piece of equipment. For me, this card had that balance.

For all the games I play this card does a fantastic job, I can run everything at max settings. Silent fan thing is odd to me however. Fans start running at 30 C and when I am just idle on my desktop it runs around 31C so it’s never on silent mode lol, stays very cool while running my games so can’t really complain. I am so glad Nividia decided to do 4gb models for the Gtx 960, I didn’t have to spend the extra 100 bucks on a Gtx 970. I am extremely satisfied with purchasing this card
