Bought this for a 5 yr old and when I opened it saw it was rated 10+, but he loves it! We played the first few levels together and it is simple enough for him to play. It’s like the original Sega where you just move forward and back and the game keeps you on the path. The rating is likely cause you have a sword, which was to break open boxes for rings, etc. I did have to slay a dragon… but no gruesome violence.
 TL;DR – Don’t buy. Rent if a curious Sonic fan.,

Kinda weird. Sonic doesn’t feel as fluid as he did in Sonic Adventure. The sword thing is okay. Honestly would not recommend the buy; maybe GameFly it if you’re interested.
