CYBERPOWERPC Gamer Xtreme GXi760 Gaming Desktop – Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5 GHz CPU, 8GB DDR4 RAM

I received this product today. Below, I detail some of the pros/cons that I encountered out of the box. If anything new develops in the next few weeks, I’ll update the review.

—Pros—

-This computer is fast, offers great graphics, and is easily customizable for future upgrades.
-The hardware that was promised in the description was actually the hardware I received. My previous purchase from an Amazon retailer was a bit of a fiasco as I purchased a computer with a 6th generation i7 processor and the computer I received had a 4th generation i7 processor (ended up returning it). A bit of a dodgy move because I think most people may not know how to tell the difference. However, all of the hardware on this rig was intact and running smoothly. Thanks for being honest!
-The computer is pretty much plug and play. You have to remove the side panel to remove a bit of protective plastic from the inside of the unit and you’ll have to register Windows and run Windows update to get the new patches. That’s it. The work of about 30 minutes.
-Aesthetically, the computer is just cool. The blue light is nice, especially at night. The white chassis is neat too (most computers I’ve owned are grey/black so this is a welcome difference).
-The GTX 950 is a great graphics card, especially for the price. You can obviously buy more powerful ones, but frankly I can’t tell so much of a difference that I’m willing to lay down another few hundred (or even a grand) on an upgrade. This card will get you through most modern games at high and most 2+ year old games at ultra.

—Cons—
-The only con I have run into so far is the keyboard that came with the computer is not working. Some of the keys (e.g., tab, T, and backspace) aren’t working. It’s not that they are stuck, they simply don’t work. I’m going to contact Amazon and see what their response is. I’m not very upset about this because I already have a keyboard, but it’s bit irksome to have something brand new not work.

—-Update—-
-Amazon provided a refund for the keyboard so I can purchase a new one. Charles, the associate, was very helpful through the process. Very pleased with the service.

Ordered this PC the first time, I was sent a faulty one. 2 fans did not work…. But Amazon was great in sending a replacement 2 days later. As far as fps. In most all games it is awesome. I play counter strike:global offensive. Runs about 250-300 fps which is Fckn awesome. Just had to install the motherboard drivers n graphics card drivers. N had to put my windows product code in. Was very easy worked well. Thank you Amazon, for taking care of me.

This PC is absolutely fantastic. It only took me about 30 minutes to an hour and a half to set everything up and have it running since all the necessary software came pre-loaded. The PC is EXTREMELY quiet and keeps a very stable temperature. Since it is a bit larger it allows much better airflow than normal and allows you to customize it should you decide to upgrade in the future.

As for running games – amazing. Graphics quality is phenomenal and all the game play is very smooth, even while running games in ultra graphics. Not only that, but it stays very quiet while running these games which is something I appreciate immensely.

Kudos to CyberpowerPC for a great product. They really did an outstanding job on this machine and have been helpful with questions I have had.
