Got this PC because I am new to the gaming PC world and I needed a place to start. I would say this is a great start for those who are looking for a decent gaming PC. This computer can handle many games at 1080, but if you are looking to play games at a high fps with 1080 and higher you would need some upgrades. I would suggest replacing the power supply. Once you have a decent power supply I would switch to a better graphics card that can handle more. Overall this pre-built PC is a nice place to start, that can handle many games. With a few minor upgrades to the psu and gpu you would have a beast of a gaming PC.

Great quality build, really nice job with the cable management. It runs nice and quiet. My only gripe is the small power supply (350 watts). The power supply will need upgrading if you want a faster video card.

This computer has some very attractive features – late-model CPU being foremost. And CyberpowerPC warranty the other. I also liked the Coolermaster case, its ports and the blue fans, although the knock-outs in back are non-standard.
However, you have to be aware of a couple of things before selecting it: the GPU (video card) is an older one and may not appeal to gamers.. The video card covers one PCI slot, leaving only one free. That would cramp one’s use of add-on cards. Although the case is well-designed and has lots of space, the MSI mainboard is a micro-ATX with limited expandability. RAM is limited to two banks (although expandable to 32GB). And the 500W power supply is a cheap one. I had to replace mine right away, because the plug-in was loose. I find it curious that – except for the Coolermaster case – none of these components are offered at the manufacturer’s own website. As others have noted, the gamer keyboard and mouse are pretty lightweight and not as finger-friendly as my old ones. |
