Great monitor, but has a flaw,

I bought two of these monitors a few weeks ago and they’ve been pretty great so far (aside from one issue which is described below).
The best part in my opinion is the the thin bezel which is accurately depicted in the pictures above. In case anyone was wondering, the bezel (including the part of the screen that doesn’t display any picture) is about 1/4" (7/32" to be precise). I was worried about the base not being stable when I bought the monitors, but the monitors are actually surprisingly stable. The main reason I’m writing this review is to warn people about the backlight bleeding that is present on both of the monitors I received. The pattern of the backlight bleeding is exactly the same on both of the monitors, which leads me to believe that I didn’t just get unlucky. Under normal circumstances, the image quality is great. However, if there’s a dark image on the screen and I’m in a dark room (when watching a movie for example), the backlight bleeding is very apparent on the two upper corners of the screens. This isn’t a huge issue for me since I usually have a light on in the room, but I’m sure it might bother some people. This seems like a pretty common issue on budget IPS monitors, so I wouldn’t rule this monitor out unless you find a monitor that you know for sure doesn’t have this same issue.

I purchased 2 of these a few weeks ago and have enjoying the hell out of them ever since. The slim bezel was a big selling point for me. They look amazing side by side.
-Pros- -Cons- I will be purchasing a 3rd to add to my workstation soon. (see picture)

A LED-lit 1440p IPS 25″ monitor that’s solid and less expensive than most, By

Forewarning that I don’t have that much experience or expertise with monitors besides the crammed research I did over the last week. But I had an Asus MX279H for a few days, which I hear is an amazing monitor with great picture quality from a reliable company, so at least I have a relative point of comparison.
– Looks amazing; it’s almost if not just as good as the Asus after you calibrate the brightness and such. If this monitor has all the features you are looking for, then know that it’s an amazing choice you should seriously consider with no downsides as far as I can see. I am thoroughly satisfied with it and I love it. But to be safe, make sure your vendor has good return/replacement policies if it turns up with any problems because I can only talk about the single one I got and not about QA consistency. ———- Now I just want to go into detail as to why I chose the features this monitor has in the first place. I wanted 1440p and IPS because I use my computer all the time to play games, so I want something that looks nice; both are probably the best improvements you can get to visual quality. I had a hard time deciding between 1080p and 1440p, but trying 1440p was like putting on a needed pair of glasses if your game supports that resolution, so I don’t regret choosing it. LED-lit (AKA LED, LED-lit LCD) makes colors pop out really well and makes blacks easier to tell apart, so that’s a bonus. Trying both 25" and 27", I decided to go with 25" because it still looks large while I’m still able to keep everything in sight by just looking straight. 27" for me felt for the sake of having your screen occupy your peripheral vision. I decided to be okay with 60Hz for two reasons: one is that I’m not a competitive gamer, and two is that I was limited by my computer. If you don’t game competitively, you just want 60Hz for the looks, and it gives smoothness to motion which isn’t as important as IPS or 1440p from what I’ve heard. I was limited in my computer in that if I was going to choose 1440p, which takes a lot out of a GPU, I’m not going to get over 60 frames on newer games like The Witcher 3 at higher settings, which would make over 60Hz useless in that scenario; take the power of your GPU into consideration and get an appropriately matching monitor. Basically, what you want to prioritize is resolution >= game graphic settings > frames for looks. So taking all that into account along with price, this monitor fulfilled what I wanted. |

|Best display I’ve ever purchased,
-Pros-
-Unbeatable price/value for a full 1080P monitor.
-Wonderful picture. LED lit makes images come to life.
-Easily calibrated or adjusted.
-Matte finish reduces any background light glare. Looks great with room lights on or off.
-Lightweight (only 6 lbs).
-Best response time out of any IPS panel display I’ve seen (only 4 ms)
-Very sturdy base.
-High viewing angles.
-3 different input ports makes this a dream for compatibility.
-No backlight bleeding(a common problem with some displays)
-No assembly, the monitor just slides on to the base and clicks in place. I set up 2 of these in less than 5 minutes.
-Packaged very well.
-Includes VGA cable, which I though I was going to have to purchase separately.
-Cons-
Not VESA mount compatible. (I knew this before I bought them. Didn’t have plans to mount them anyway.)
I will be purchasing a 3rd to add to my workstation soon. (see picture)
