Excellent product, July 21, 2012
Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
This review is from: MSI ATI Radeon HD6450 1 GB DDR3 VGA/DVI/HDMI Low Profile PCI-Express Video Card R6450-MD1GD3/LP (Personal Computers)
Very nice low profile design. Fit in perfectly for a slim tower desktop. Has three ports(HDMI,VGA, DVI). Supports dual monitors. The software , called Catalyst Control Center, coming with this video card is user-friendly. Just keep in mind that, if you are using HDMI connection to a computer monitor, and if you see white boarders around the monitor, you would need to adjust the ‘overscan’ to zero in the scaling options of Catalyst Control Center.

I have Dell Optiplex 360 with stock 235 watt psu. Run CD first and change the BIOS setting to detect my graphic card. Installed it and up and running in 10min or so. So much better than Intel onboard graphic!

Kicckk Buttttt Graphics card for an aging pc., December 13, 2014
Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
This review is from: MSI ATI Radeon HD6450 1 GB DDR3 VGA/DVI/HDMI Low Profile PCI-Express Video Card R6450-MD1GD3/LP (Personal Computers)
I have a Dell OptiPlex GX620 small form factor/slim line pc. I have 4gigs of ram, Vista pro 64 bit, Pentium 4 HT 3.4ghz processor, a Samsung Blu Ray drive, and a 260 watt power supply unit (more than plenty). Using HDMI I have my HTPC connected to my 50 inch Samsung Plasma 1080p tv in the bedroom via a midsize Sony receiver. I use a Logitech MK550 wireless key/mouse combo, and the Logitech F710 wireless gamepad. I have a steam account with many games. I have this card set to run my TV at 1080p resolution, and 5.1 surround sound using HDMI going into my Sony receiver. Of course this graphics card is no power users dream in anyway but, for an old pc that just needs an upgrade its perfect. I can play Skyrim, Team Fortress 2, Hawken, Kingdoms of Amulur: The Reckoning, and many others on low settings, and on my plasma it looks great. Quality of this card is amazing for what it is and does. Price is a steal for such a small wonder upgrade. I have attached pics to show it installed in my pc and displaying on my tv. I also have great video of it playing skyrim and will load it when I am able to. This card is perfect for any small pc needing an upgrade, great kids pc for games, or anyone wanting to play pc games for little money but with great quality graphics from a well known and very reputable manufacturer. You can not go wrong with this small powerful graphics card for an aging pc. Buy today even at 40 bucks its a steal.

PS….my phone is actually a Samsung budget phone with less camera quality….these pics don’t do the card justice for its quality is way better.
