 Great but if you buy this for MAC from Amazon you will never be able to get any updates to the software.,

You can get lost in this world very easily. Its a wonderful sim but also with gaming features such as achievements and even a gold hunt if you’re into that sort of thing. I like the farming simulation where you slowly but steadily grow your farm and expand to better equipment, faster earnings and more fields for your farming empire. A unique feature is that the game never really ends unless you want it to, there is always more to do. Always engaging and interesting. I know it sounds boring, but it really is addictive.
UPDATE: It turns out that if you go to the app store to get the latest update, even if you downloaded it from amazon, the app store recognizes that you have a valid copy and will update it. A very strong warning however: I was not able to update this Amazon copy from the farming simulator site because it is OS X and the site says your software will update automatically though Apple. Unfortunately this is incorrect since Apple has no record of your purchase so it will not update the software either. Amazon offers no ability to update the software. So my advices for Mac owners, buy it through the App Store, not here. That way it will always be updated and you want that because the newer Mods for tools and vehicles do depend on latest SW updates of the simulator engine.

Awesome game!!!
My 6 year old son and I play this together. We are really enjoying the added element of going into the logging business. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because we are playing this on a Macbook and the controls for the logging equipment were difficult to figure out. If you’re using a regular mouse, I think it would be fine though.  Save Game doesn’t work,

I purchased this game for my 8 year old son to play and was very happy to find a game that doesn’t focus on violence. We loaded it without any issues. BUT, we can’t get any of the save games to actually save, so you can only play for one sitting at a time. I have tried to research patches, and I read there is one out there? I keep coming back to your site to see if you offer a patch, and I have searched other sites. I can only find the patches for PC. I also can go into the save game backup XML feed and see there is game data there. I can copy it into the empty save game folder, restart Farming Simulator and there is still no saved game data. It was a waste of .99. Very disappointed.
