Utter crap. A real embarrassment,, October 22, 2013

This is… wow. I have no words for how utterly disappointed I am in this game. I’ve never given a game review, but this has really compelled me to. The camera angles presented in this game are exactly like the GAMEBOY ADVANCED version of Lego Star Wars 2 (Which, by the way, is oodles more fun than this game). Even on the PS VITA store, the screenshots they use ARE FROM THE PS3 VERSION! Can you say “False Advertising?” I really hope they get sued for that bit.

Cons: Crap graphics. NOT a console port. I can’t even jump as the Hulk. Touch commands? Really? PSN lied on the store website. I just can’t fathom why they would create a system roughly equal in power to a ps3, that can showcase visuals as seen in killzone mercenaries and Uncharted… then give us THIS kind of game to go with it. I just… I don’t know. This is disappointing. Spare your money, get the console/PC version. Or wait for it to come to PS4 and REMOTEPLAY it.

Pros: The refund has an “instant refund” option to get my money back faster.

I’m never preordering a vita lego game ever again. This has betrayed my trust.

A Huge Disappointment, October 29, 2013
This review is from: LEGO: Marvel – PlayStation Vita (Video Game)
I’ve played all the Lego games on various consoles so I know that the portable versions of the games is not just a port of the console version but is actually a different and more stripped down version of the game. It’s disappointing but its understandable. I played Lego Star Wars 3 on my 3DS and Lego Batman 2 on my vita. While I would have loved them to be the same as the console version they were both pretty good representations of the lego games.

Lego marvel is NOT. It says its 45 missions but really its 15 missions split into three parts. You can’t jump! there is all most no plat forming to be had. You basically go from one side of the screen to the other. There are 10 challenges for each level that are suppose to add replayablility but they are mundane and pointless. Also they force you to use the touch screen for a lot of the controls which are not very responsive. I have died lots of times in the game because the touch screen controls didn’t read correctly.

As a big fan of the lego games I’ve never been more disappointed. Buy the console version which is a lot better but do not get the vita or 3ds version.

I was so thrilled when I saw this game announced that I preordered it right away. I am very disappointed now that I have it. I enjoyed Lego Batman 2, but this doesn’t even compare. Now I wish I would have just saved the money and waited for the PS4 version or just got it for the PS3.

The levels are very short. Each mission is divided into three parts. Each part takes less than 5 minutes to complete. I don’t like how the characters can’t jump. Lunging seems to be used instead of jumping.

The graphics look great which is about the best I can say about this game. Oh and the cutscenes are done well and don’t look as choppy as other Lego games.
