The game is actually pretty good. I was a bit worried having not seen any videos or media related to the game after it was first announced for the vita. That’s usually a sign of a crappy game. The graphics aren’t spectacular, and the framerate dips a bit when swinging around the city. Other than that, the game is pretty fun. Never played the console versions, so this is all new to me. For an open world game like this, I think it’s an alright port.

Though "The Amazing Spiderman" graphics can be very stuttery at times, this is still an excellent port and worth your purchase.

Thank god it was free roam, but seriously, this is the laziest vita port I have seen. The graphics were forgivable on the vita, and the framerate was so terrible. On top of that often time button pressing was delayed due to slowdown. It seems as if they just took the PC version, put the visual settings to minimum, pasted vita commands on top, and called it The Amazing Spider-Man for Vita. I see now why there was no vita gameplay or trailers.
