AMAZING! Its impossible to give this a bad review, HERE’S WHY,
This review is from: Rare Replay – Xbox One (Video Game)
I was actually quite shocked when I saw how amazing this was put together. This could be a comeback for Rare, they are definitely headed in the right direction again with this and they have even reverted back to their original logo too if thats anything to go by.
Some common questions you might have… The GOOD: The BAD: Overall, flawless besides the initial install wait time.

Pixel perfect right down to that NES flicker !!,
Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
This review is from: Rare Replay – Xbox One (Video Game)
I came into Rare Replay after viewing the E3 2015 announcement trailer and was ecstatic! 30 for package for some of the best Rare games?
The presentation is modernized with slick transitions, high score attacks, challenge modes and achievement support. Here’s a list of the 30 games included on this edition which range from 1983 to 2008: Jetpac What’s nice is all game releases prior to N64 have optional CRT filters and the ability to rewind –a godsend for what made retro games nostalgic– their difficulty. Unfortunately other high profile Rare games didn’t make the cut (Nintendo properties), such as Goldeneye and Donkey Kong Country series. Other games like Battletoads and R.C. Pro-Am have that NES flicker fans have always loved! This collection isn’t without its flaws. There are apparent framerate issues in games where there should be none at this point in technology and emulation standards. Conker’s Bad Fur Day (N64 original) has slowdown and framerate hiccups in various spots, as does Jet Force Gemini, to name a few. BOTTOM LINE: For you CANNOT go wrong. This is unbelieveable value at a bargain price. It’s on Xbox One, which might not be the most popular choice, though Rare is owned by Microsoft. Get it for other companies to set a precedence on what a collection should be like!

Absolutely amazing collection of games right here., By

I’m so happy with this release. It came out so soon, I don’t think anyone expected it to be released this quickly. It’s full of N64 classics, and 10,000 Gamerscore to boot. I’ve paired it with my original versions of the games, for contrast. Been A1 since Day 1. Thank you Rareware, and thank you Microsoft for an amazing collection of 30 games at a discounted price. It’s a great time to be a gamer.

AMAZING! Its impossible to give this a bad review, HERE’S WHY,
Some common questions you might have…
-YES, Conkers Bad Fur Day is a DIRECT port of the original N64 version. NOTHING has been changed or censored! The only changes made are small animations in the speech bubbles about how to use the controller and thats it!
-YES, You can turn off the side-bar art and make the image larger on the screen. Stop reading comments about people complaining about that, they are just lazy.
The GOOD:
-YES, Chris Seavor (Voice of Conker) makes an appearance in the special features!
-The rewind is so awesome and helpful in games like Battletoads. USE IT to your advantage!
-The opening jingle of the compilation will be stuck in your head forever and thats a good thing!
-$30 games for a dollar each, including expensive titles like Battletoads and Conkers Bad Fur day, you’d be stupid not to buy this!
The BAD:
-As soon as you pop the game in, there is updates and installs to be had. 46gb of install that is and 6gb of those are downloaded from the cloud (360 games). So pop it in, let it do its thing and go eat or something, its going to take at least 30 mins to install, and the cloud games all need updates before playing once already installed, dumb I know.
Overall, flawless besides the initial install wait time.
This has set the standard and put the bar a heck of a lot higher for compilation games in the future!
