Apevia X-cruiser3-GN black metal case with large side window and green LED fan. With up to seven cooling fans, the airflow of the X-cruiser3 has been improved over the original X-cruiser case models, allowing better circulation of air and cooling of system components. Sleek and modern, the case door comes with three color-coded gauges to monitor system performance: fan speed, temperature, and volume sensitivity. The X-cruiser3 comes equipped with a controller for both the sensitivity gauge and fan speeds (which can control up to four fans). USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 compliant ports are included on the top of the case along with headphone and microphone jacks that support both the HD audio and AC’97 standard formats. Available in five colors, the X-cruiser3 is built for those who desire a cool, sleek look that will draw attention.

Great value in a pink PC case,
Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
The case was purchased for my daughter, who wanted a pink case. The color aside (not my personal choice), the quality of the case is excellent for the price range. There are better cases out there, but they cost more, too. The gauges on the front work as advertised. The fan controller is a nice feature (you can daisy-chain all the case fans together and control all of them from 1 central spot), to control the noise vs cooling issue of all case fans. The case includes more fans than most, including the giant side fan (which has red led lighting). I’m not personally a fan of having to open the front panel to access the optical drive, etc, but it doesn’t seem to bother my daughter.
My 2 criticisms are: 1 – no handles on the top of the case to carry it around, and 2 – the "feet" on the bottom are too short to allow good airflow from any bottom mounted fans (which will include at least the PSU fan). However, these 2 criticisms of mine are true for the vast majority of PC cases out there, and I almost always mod my PC cases for taller bottom feet and carrying handles. By the way, if you want to mod the case (as mentioned), it can be easily accomplished (see attached modded photo) – Please note that the taller feet and the carrying handles were case mods (not included from the manufacturer).

This case is pretty good; if you love green and want to create a green-themed computer as I did, this is a serious contender. The major failing of this computer case though, and the reason why I didn’t give it a 5 star review, is that the big green led fan on the left side of the case doesn’t clear any after market CPU processor and heat sink combination. That sucks because that fan serves as a major air intake. If you want to equip the stock green fan you might have to use the stock heat sink associated with your processor, which is generally not a good idea. Either that, or as I might do later in the future, you might want to mount a small 120mm green LED fan to the left case cover; there are threads for screws that can accommodate that form factor. I have verified that there is enough room for it if you place it to the bottom left; its not as big or as powerful or as cool as the one that comes stock with this case and its really close to your power supply, but its still something. I’ve also installed a green cold cathode light to make up for some of the loss of the effect and green LED fans to enhance the theme. Hope the pictures and the review helped– overall recommended.
