When I saw this organizer, I thought it the perfect solution for my computer table. The idea of having my monitor elevated and neatly stashing the must-have-stuff that was arranged via the "toss and leave it where it lands" method….well I could not resist. The stand is well constructed and is of good quality. Its arrival launched a cleaning campaign that my computer station hasn’t seen in ages. Alas when all was said and done, the monitor was now too high and I had an instant neck ache. I had miscalculated the combined impact of the heights of the organizer, the table, and my chair. Changing the table was not an option and adding a pillow to the chair didn’t fix things. Rather than return the unit, I consigned the monitor back to the table top and placed the organizer along side….where it holds even more stuff now that the monitor isn’t sitting on it. While I’m not using it the way it was intended, it’s working out great and I’m comfortable once again.

I absolutely love this monitor organizer! I purchased two because I use dual monitors on my PC. With one of them, I had to put a book under the monitor because the sides of the organizer are too high. But the book provided enough height that it matches up pretty well with the other monitor (that didn’t require a book underneath). This was exactly what I was looking for at a competitive price. The drawer under the stand has a lot of room and it doesn’t fall out if you open it all the way.

This is a metal plate and of course metal baskets and tray. You have four screws, two for each side basket. It looks great and it’s so handy to have the computer up higher to look straight at or watch any kind of streaming from the couch. The edges can be a bit sharp so be aware.
