I should have known that with these video games as well as movies, the “part 2” is almost never as good as the original. The graphics of this game are really bad, you can almost not tell if you change the clothes of your character. The little mini games are boring, and some are just too easy, while others are too mindless to even attempt. I know that the game developers have the capability to write better games, instead of just copying a successful title that they think will make money. Don’t waste your money.

I pre-ordered this New Carnival Games ds title based on my fun experience with the original version. WHAT A MISTAKE!! Not only are the graphics terrible, but the gameplay is difficult to make the objects do what you want them to (throw darts, bowl, anything!) I even had my 9 yr old nephew try it out for a while just to make sure it wasn’t just me. Stick to the original Carnival Games and you will be much better off!

This game is a ton of fun I have it for the wii also but I really enjoy it on the ds. I have both carnival games for the ds as well as the carnival game for the 3ds I am a big fan of this series. If you like mini games and collecting item you will enjoy this game. It is a game you can play and put down for a while and pick it right back up and keep playing.
