Love this game. Being someone who loves sims, this game is pretty cool. You can walk/drive around in 1st person and see your zoo and interact with the animals or you can play from up top and look down at your zoo as a birds eye view. Theres campaign mode and challenge mode and some online play. Similar to the computer Zoo Tycoon where you can choose where at and how big/small your zoo is. You pay your staff and pay for research to be done so you can obtain more animals and objects. Really cool game. Maybe for older childeren though, a younger child may not be able to keep up with all that goes on in the zoo, you have to contastly refill your animals food and water supply. Take care of sick animals. Keep customers happy. Things like that.

This is a fun and nostalgic game. I played the original so it was nice to play a Zoo Tycoon in great graphics. Animals are cute, the Kinect features can be fun, and you can do some cool things in game. There are two huge things wrong with the game though:
1. The Kinect feature is spotty at best. Like I said, when it works it’s a blast, but it rarely works correctly. It is horrible at picking up the gestures I do and is just not done well. It’s an interesting feature that just wasn’t executed well. 2. The game is WAYYYYY too short, and there is nowhere near enough content. I had all the animals in the game after 30 minutes of sandbox mode. There are not even half the amount of animals as there were in the original game, and you have such a small place to build you park. It was so underwhelming.

This game sucks!!! Nothing like the PC version. Every ‘store’ or ‘animal exhibit’ is preconstructed… You can’t personalise anything. If you put two objects next to each other they automatically connect with a sidewalk/pathway you cannot customise. On top of all that there is a ‘zoo limit’. Which literally just doesn’t let you build anything else when there is plenty of land left. So you can’t even get all the animals in one zoo. Just don’t waste your money.
